Which photos work best?
Color dot painting uses the full palette, so vivid photos work beautifully — a sunset, a bouquet, a portrait in colourful light. The stronger the colours, the more striking the result. You do not need to worry about it in advance: upload your photo and the free preview will show you both versions, 30 and 50 colours.
How is color dot painting different from the classic one?
Classic dot painting is single-color (black, blue or gold dots). Color dot painting creates a full-color picture — you fill the cells with acrylic paint in many shades.
What is the difference between 30 and 50 colors?
More colors mean smoother transitions and truer detail — for portraits and colorful photos we recommend 50 colors. You will see both options in the preview.
What dot sizes are there?
10 mm or 3 mm. Both cost the same — 10 mm is finished sooner, 3 mm carries finer detail. Pick yours right from the previews.
Can I do it without any experience?
Yes. The applicator lays the paint precisely into the numbered cells. All it takes is patience — it is relaxing to make.
